This banquet table is a celebration of magnificent solid strikingly vibrant and ribboned mahogany wood, all supported on strongly tapered legs with traditional bellflower and satinwood inlaid ovals (see close-ups).   As you will note, the work is finely executed with line inlay decorating the apron and running up and down each leg.

Often, the end sections (D-ends) can be combined to a smaller table with the middle section and its drop leaves utilized as an additional side table.   Nevertheless, fully opened, it is a magnificent and elegant banquet table of the Hepplewhite form.

There are no breaks or alterations to this table, and it has been newly french polished.
