This secretary is a masterpiece with exceptional architectural features.  Note the convex pediment with gilt mounting.   The elaborate gilded mullions composing the upper doors are flanked with columns with enormous carved capitals.  This commanding piece has a pull out desk section, highly figured paneled doors below, and fluted melon feet supporting columns and capitals.  Note the mounts, which are beautifully gilded and express the quality of this secretary.

This piece is in superb condition and the best of the period.  It is the cornerstone of any classical collection.
