A Classical/Federal Mahogany Nightstand 2-Drawer Worktable with Tapered Classical Reeded Legs, Philadelphia, c.1800-10

This is a beautiful blond mahogany which almost has a walnut look.  The striping of the wood is highlighted by this blond color background, making this table quite light in feel.  The tapered reeded legs are done to perfection; note the top of each of the large reeds rounded in a fine manner.   (See detailed image).
