Pier tables in this period seldom appear in rosewood as this wood was just becoming fashionable. The rosewood is spectacular with color variation throughout. The carving of the acanthus, etc. is first class and the condition is superb, retaining its original marble top. It is understated yet elegant and gracious. It is in perfect condition, with no repairs or alterations.
