A Desirable Octagonal Mahogany Cellarette, England, c.1790-1810

Each side of this cellarette is  composed of heavy mahogany veneers, showing its fabulous striped mahogany panels which over time have deepened into a mellow yellow/red color of great depth.   The same is true of the top.   (See details.)   Everything is all original, including all of the brass and the lead liner, which more often then not, is missing.

We have French polished it to reveal its beauty.  With the use of an octagonal form with repeating mahogany panels this cellarette is a standout.
