A Grain-Painted Side Table, New England, c.1820

This is a simple table and in pure condition it retains its wonderful wood simulated graining throughout. We have not cleaned down this surface, as many would prefer this piece in untouched condition, which it is. But look at the top, the drawerfront, the legs...and you will see a beautifully decorated piece on all sides. From a shop point of view, the construction is well done, for its provincial origin.

Height: 28 in. Width: 32 in. Depth: 17 1/2 in.
