We generally don't handle furniture this late, but when it's of this quality, we make exceptions, especially, when it points to New York work from shops such as Hagen or Sypher. Several works by these makers can be found on our site.
The claw and ball legs are absolutely superb and done as well as period examples. The table rotates on a brass plate with roller bearings, all of which are nicely machined for long life. The wood is all solid mahogany and the shelf supports are tightly turned with shelves smartly reeded, as is the circular top. Note the quality of the figured mahogany chosen for the top. This is a first class piece retaining much of its original surface and is completely original, including casters, et al. Of note is that this is a relatively small scale piece, which can fit nicely alongside an upholstered chair and of useful design.
