A Mahogany Sheraton Workstand, Salem, c.1890

This is an extremely fine copy of a Salem sewing table executed probably at the turn of the century. We have this piece because of its superior craftsmanship throughout. The only thing that seperates this from the original is time. The reeding and acanthus carving in addition to the quality of the mahogany is of the highest order. Indeed, a professional would have to start examining drawers to determine oxidation levels to discern its true age.
