A Sheraton/Federal Mahogany Canterbury, American or English, c.1800-1810

This canterbury is all complete and finely crafted of dense mahogany, which retains an early dark surface.   The casters are original and the dividers are finely stylized with a tombstone arch motif cut out of each splat and reflected above in the shaped rail.   It’s a fine period piece in excellent condition.
