This mirror is rectangular and encloses an original beveled mirror glass and an original églomisé glass painted panel depicting a marine landscape in pastel colors. The glasses are flanked by spiral gilt columns in a concave background. The mirror is crested by an overhanging architectural shelf with spiral gilt friezes.

The gold leaf is in superb condition so that the play of light is reflected brightly on the background of the spirals within each vertical column. The base has a thinner spiral gilt beading, and the corners are rectangular blocks with gilt border facades. This mirror retains its original pine backboard and original gilding.
