A Queen Anne Tiger Maple Lowboy Base, Now Server, with Pinwheel Fan, Connecticut, c.1760

Highboys were often separated as the base with an added top board make for efficient servers in a dining room or in a bedroom as a dressing table. This base is exceptional in its condition, which has its old scrubbed surface of tiger maple drawerfronts with a fabulous Connecticut pinwheel fan, above a beautifully stylized skirt, centered with what's called a whale's tail.
