A Mahogany and Gilt Hepplewhite style Mirror with Eglomise Tablet

Private Collection

The urn finial with buds is flanked by a molded and carved scroll pediment, with floral rosettes further embellished by drop-acanthus elements. The pediment is inlaid with an oval panel containing an 18-star Federal eagle emblem above checkered string inlay and inlaid panels.
