A Hepplewhite Walnut Country Side Table, Virginia, c.1800

This side table, or work table has a beautiful top with ample and desirable overhang, see detail. The table is in superb original condition. Look at the close-ups of the drawer, with its fine dovetailing and old, oxidized nails. Also, the underneath is in impeccable condition, as this piece is totally original, even retaining its early Chippendale brass. It is very ruggedly built, constructed of walnut and secondaries of Southern yellow pine and Tulip polar.
