A Walnut Tavern Table, Pennsylvania, c.1760

This tavern table follows the general Philadelphia model with a pegged, removable top. It is in perfect condition and retains its original drawer, which, on many of these tables have long been lost and replaced. Note, the bottom of the drawer sides have had new glides added to compensate for the wear, which is a common good-housekeeping practice.
