A Chippendale Tiger Maple Six-drawer Chest with original Brasses, Rhode Island, c. 1780
This tall chest has its old golden/amber color, which only time creates. The front of the case is composed of beautifully striped tiger maple, which is a joy to behold. In between the drawers, one and see the drawer blades mortised into the sides and it is this type of construction that has allowed these casepieces to survive.
