A Fine Carved Mahogany George III Settee in the Chinese Chippendale Taste, c.1750

This is an extremely fine settee with beautifully raked rear legs and classic carving throughout. This settee has been reupholstered in a fine silk fabric with the underneath open for inspection. Settees such as these are quite rare as few have survived and this one is indeed a treasure which is very rare in the Chinese Chippendale model.
