A Fine Rosewood Regency Library Table, England, c.1820
This library table is a magnificent example of the classical regency style; it speaks quality throughout. Note the beautiful scrolled legs and the acanthus carving at the base of the hexagonal columns. The apron is beautifully sectioned and paneled. The figure in the rosewood is exceptional, and has aged to warm glow. The top is of choice red leather with a fine floral embossing at the edge. This table is the best of its type and in original polished condition.
