This highly desirable Philadelphia card table with drawer is extremely functional and elegant. The table is supported by square Marlborough legs with cuffs below, and carved brackets above. The quality of craftsmanship is seen throughout. For example, see the dovetailing at the back of the case. The gadrooning around the apron is strongly defined, and the mahogany is very heavy with an old surface that has been French polished.
