A Federal Birch Candlestand, New Hampshire, c.1810
This candelstand bears many similarities reminiscent of the Dunlap school. Note the angular shape of the top of each leg and mostly, note the highly developed coulm and its many turnings. Also, the prominent pins which hold the legs and the interesting finial at the bottom of the column. The top has notched corners and is beautifully tapered to e fine edge. This table is in a fine state of preservation.
