A Diminutive Mahogany Queen Anne style Drop Leaf Table, 19th century
This small mahogany dropleaf table is a peanut. It's tiny, and fits snugly alongside a wingchair, or in front of one, for one person dining, i.e. it's very portable. This form is very rare and highly desirable. While we don't quite feel it is period, it wasn't made yesterday, and we feel it is probably an excellent centennial piece that time has only made better. Its construction and materials are identical to those of the period examples.
