This worktable has wonderfully defined lyres supporting an upper case with two drawers below a top with leaves on either side. The top is solid mahogany as is the rest of the piece with the exception of the basket and drawerfronts, as well as the sides when the flaps are lifted, all of which are highly figured. The wood is truly a joy to behold. The basket, both front and rear, is fully finished, as is the back of the upper case.
