A Pair of Diminutive Mahogany Chippendale style Block-front Chests

Scroll down for 4 more photos

While maybe made in the 40’s, this compact pair is a fine example of the work done in the Chippendale period, exemplifying the highly-regarded blockfront form. The size is very diminutive in width and rises high on shapely blocked bracket feet. Although of the bureau form, these pieces work nicely on either side of a bed as a night tables.
