A Tiger Maple Chest on Frame, Rhode Island

The chest itself was originally the top of a highboy or the top of a "chest on frame" such as it is offered here. The chest is also absolutely original with no alteration whatsoever. It has magnificent tiger maple with chestnut secondaries throughout, indicating a probably Rhode Island coastal origin.
