Pair of Carved Open Talon Mahogany Chippendale style Tea Tables

These tea tables are benchmade replicas of the famous Newport tea table of which only a few period examples are known. One will be coming to market at Sotheby’s next year with a $2/5 million estimate. These tables do have some age and there is obvious sun bleaching on the aprons and legs, giving a very pleasing look as if to be of the period.
