Classical Campeache Chair with Scrolled Arms, c.1830-40

This campeache chair is of substantial scale and weight. It has beautifully scrolled arms, which start and terminate in scrolls. The turned stretcher is robust and it sits on small blocked feet. We have had this chair reupholstered in tufted leather and it is in superb condition.
