A Mahogany Chippendale Tilt-top Table, New England, c.1780

Scroll down for 3 more photos

This table has a warm amber glow and an old surface except for the top, which has been cleaned through the years, as expected on an 18th century table. The top is of three board construction and the baluster has a very lovely vase shape with an interesting turning at the top, almost making it look like a vase with a lip. This table is in excellent condition with no breaks.
