This chest is in perfect condition and recently French polished to display the beautiful color and figure in the mahogany. The backsplash retains its original rosettes and the bureau is in excellent condition with no repairs or alterations. The brasses have been replaced with excellent examples. The columns are freestanding and the feet are very vigorously turned. This bureau is very serviceable with its additional set of small drawers.
