This set of chairs is a centennial/turn of the century set which is beautifully crafted, displaying all of the bells and whistles one expects in this form, i.e. the legs have claw and ball feet instead of pad feet, the knees are fully carved, and the crest of the chair has a large shell. They are of a good large scale and heavy. They are in perfect condition and, with their stretchers that join the feet, have a durability and explain in large part how solid they have remained through the years.
