These worktables follow the classic 1790-1800 Hepplewhite form of the period. They are benchmade and probably made turn of the century. The cabinetwork is done exactly in the manner of its period counterpart, i.e. dovetailed drawers, solid chamfered drawer bottoms, etc. The satinwood has, overtime, developed a beautiful glow, and they make an exceptional statement, especially as a pair.
