Inlaid Bird’s Eye Maple Hepplewhite Sideboard, England , c.1800

This sideboard is composed primarily of bird’s eye maple, which is very rarely found in a sideboard. It is further contrasted with Rosewood banding around the drawers and ebony inlay on the legs and top edge. This sideboard is further enhanced with four inlaid pateras between the drawers and ivory eschuteons. This sideboard is in extremely fine condition and is a real treasure.
