This small scale sideboard is a tour de force of carving. Not only are the rabbit and fish elements beautifully carved with infinite embellishment as a work of art on each door, but both doors are flanked by figural images and full carving throughout. Even the drawer handles, which are all original and fully expressed, are carved in intertwining vines.
