This Federal card table is a statement in magnificent woods. For example, note the strong figuring in the mahogany…there’s mahogany, and then there’s mahogany! Also see the solid mahogany top and the fabulous woods that are used. The kidney shape is pure Philadelphia and the line inlay and satinwood panels are restrained, yet the maker sought to use four satinwood panels, one above each leg.
