Large Classical Carved Gilt Mirror, 1830-1840

This mirror is in superb condition and is fully developed with basket of fruit in addition to other elements.  A related mirror is illustrated in Wendy Cooper’s Classical Taste in America, a major book in the field, and this mirror certainly finds itself in good company.  We believe our example is somewhat larger in scale.
