Figured Maple Chippendale Tall Chest w/ Fan, Rhode Island, c.1780

This is a classic Rhode Island form often seen without the fan. The fan is beautifully crafted and is the design form is almost unvarying when they are found. As expected, the drawer bottoms are chestnut, typically found in Rhode Island, Southern Connecticut work.
