Cherry Queen Anne Candlestand, Rhode Island, c.1760

This table has a classic cabriole Rhode Island pad foot which supports a turned urn. The table is quite low and has a very serviceably sized top. This is a table which was quite popular as it was very serviceable as a side table alongside a easy chair which is capable of servicing any number of functions, eating notwithstanding. This table came out of a local Rhode Island estate.
