This early mirror retains it early gilt embellishments, which are related to examples shown by Wallace Nutting, especially one in the lower portion of the mirror. This mirror is in fine condition with its original backboard and retains an early, (probably original) glass. Walnut was a wood used in 17th and early 18th century furniture and here has the mellow aged amber yellow/brown color that comes with many years of exposure.
