This table is a tour de force of its kind. It has an exuberantly carved edge which is somewhat related in concept to a table illustrated in The Collector’s Guide to Furniture Design, Edward Wenham. Note, aside from the stylistically similar ornamental edge, both tables share an elongated claw and ball foot.
