A Queen Anne Mahogany Basin Stand on Cabriole Legs, England, c.1770

This is a fully developed model employing a triform design in which all is supported by scrolled elements. An interesting comparison showing a related table with simpler columns at its lower section is illustrated in Antiques Magazine, June, 1980 (see scan below).  Note, in the comparative example, the drawers and plinth are convex as opposed to a more complicated heart shaped design.  Both examples possibly came from the same shop.
