This Chinese export piece brought over toward the end of the 19th century is composed of finely carved panel doors. The wood has a beautiful red glow and the cabinetry if first rate, i.e. the sides are fully paneled and the framework is mortised at an angle throughout. Careful attention to detail is evident with the double internal supports behind each of the carved doors.
