Classical Mahogany Secretary with Eagles, probably New York, c.1830

This secretary has a very developed glass door design, with circles and arches. The lower case has carved columns and small cupboard doors with a fold up lid. Of interest, are the beautiful winged feet with eagles. As a complete entity, this is a high style secretary of good size and fine craftsmanship, the mahogany is well figured and there are no repairs or alterations.
