Important African-American Historical Watercolor by R.H.S. Thompson

This is a rather detailed court scene of a historically important event in American history. Note the minute detail to which the many faces are drawn, obviously, these were caricatures of the personalities that were involved at the time, in this court drama. The technical ability of Thompson is clearly demonstrated and is the work of a master.
