Mahogany Louis Philippe Worktable with Gallery, French, c.1830

This elegant two drawer stand, meant to be used as an occasional table alongside a sofa or chair is composed of rich flame mahogany, used for the two drawer fronts. The small two-drawer case is supported by four classically sculpted French cabriole legs cabriole legs, which are joined by a scalloped stretcher. The full gallery on top is a desirable and useful feature.
