Mahogany Gothic Sideboard, New England, c.1830-40

This sideboard retains a beautiful mellow golden tone and stylistically echoes the Gothic arch theme throughout. The three main doors are of highly figured mahogany in arched panels above a figured base apron which are flanked by full columns with carved capitols.
