Mahogany Inlaid Hepplewhite style Sideboard

This diminutive sideboard is a tour de force of inlays that contrast strongly against a strongly figured mahogany background. The inlays are characteristic of New York work. While not antique-probably made in the 1950’s-this is a finely benchmade piece with a solid figured mahogany top that from a casual look in a room, reads as the real thing.
