Louis XV style painted commode with original marble top, 3rd quarter 19th century

Private Collection

This small-scale commode retains its original untouched painted surface with original brass pulls and escutcheons. It also retains its original variegated marble top. The locks are typical of those used for the commode form and the dovetails, by hand.
