Walnut Victorian Center Table with Marble Top, c.1870.

Retaining its original marble top, this small-scale center table is embellished with a well developed shaped top employing collonette corners above an apron of similar form with onlaid walnut burl overlay panels. All is supported on a vigorously designed cluster of columns above a curved support structure also similarly inlaid as the apron. The casters are original and this table retains a warm golden glow.
