Monumental Biedermeier style Banquet Table with Rosewood Edging

This table is built to oversized dimensions, i.e. the leaves are 1 3/8in. thick, the legs are massive solid mahogany edged with rosewood and veneered with the blonde burl hardwood. As shown, the table is fully burled. We believe this table was made by the New York firm of Schmieg & Kotzian as the quality of construction is consistent with the supreme quality of their unexcelled cabinetwork.
