Highly Figured Mahogany Classical Tilt-top Table on Saber Legs, c.1810

The wood on the top of this table is radiant and of heavy grade. The reeded vase is exquisitely turned and sits above a reeded column of which reeding is once again employed on the downward sweep of each of the saber legs, which are embellished with fine casters.
