Tiger Maple Bed in Original Mint Condition, c.1840

This bed is constructed of two matching headboards and footboards of wonderful tiger maple set in raised panels. Many beds such as this one were modified and ended up as two twin beds, both with the same headboard sans footboard, (it seems it was too wasteful to use so much great wood on one bed).
