Mahogany Chippendale Style Slant-top Desk of Townsend-Goddard Design

Signed "EK Pedrana for Everett Elliott 1964", this benchmade piece takes its inspiration from the block and shell form which Newport and the Townsend-Goddards are world-famous for. This is obviously the work of a skilled cabinetmaker and is well-built in every detail. This piece came to us with a stylized corner chair of the same maker (see item #sw00205).
